# REMOTE SENIOR WEB DESIGNER

Greenlight is seeking a **Senior Web Designer** who is passionate about creating high-quality products and digital experiences for parents, children, and seniors. You will create high-performing web experiences, guide product discovery journeys, and build delightful user onboarding experiences while partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, and other teams. The ideal candidate combines strong UX/UI expertise, visual design craft, responsive web design knowledge, and the ability to connect design decisions to business and customer outcomes.
## Key Responsibilities
- Build user-centered website layouts, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
- Use testing and iteration to continuously improve digital experience performance.
- Develop a deep understanding of business objectives and customer needs, including how digital experiences acquire and retain customers.
- Own the direction and quality of design initiatives.
- Apply systems-level thinking to connect web work with broader product and design systems.
- Drive UI decisions and deliver engineering-ready designs, flows, and components.
- Lead the website design process from start to finish, including ideation, user research, user flows, information architecture, visual design, delivery, and quality assurance.
- Participate in brainstorms, design reviews, and cross-functional partnerships to raise the quality of design.
- Stay current with web trends, design best practices, tools, and accessibility standards and incorporate them into digital design work.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, copywriters, and engineers to translate complex business challenges into high-quality digital experiences.
- Brainstorm, concept, sketch, and execute high-fidelity designs based on creative briefs.
- Clearly communicate design concepts and intent verbally and visually.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader design team.

## Required Qualifications
- **5–7 years of web design experience**.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of web design projects, including impact, outcomes, and design thinking.
- Technical expertise in **UX and UI design**.
- Ability to optimize designs for responsive environments, usability, and digital design best practices.
- Fluency in **Figma**, including design systems and prototyping for engineering handoff.
- Familiarity and experience with **AI tools**, including Claude, Figma Make, and Gemini.
- Proficiency in **Adobe Creative Suite**.
- Ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to communicate design concepts and intentions clearly, both verbally and visually.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
## Preferred Qualifications
- **Mobile app experience**.
- Background in **fintech** or consumer products.
- Experience with **After Effects**, other motion tools, or prototyping tools.
