# DevOps Cloud Engineer (Hybrid - Camden, NJ)

## About the Role

US Cold is seeking a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and operate the cloud infrastructure supporting its B2B platforms, including APIs, portals, and integration services. This role focuses on reliability, scalability, security, automation, and observability across customer-facing systems.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations, with strong Azure expertise and experience supporting CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, and automation. You’ll contribute to a multi-year modernization effort while helping maintain reliable systems supporting large-scale temperature-controlled logistics operations.

## Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure for B2B platforms.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery of APIs and integrations.

- Manage API gateways, load balancing, and traffic routing.

- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance metrics.

- Support high availability, disaster recovery, and uptime SLAs.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code.

- Partner with security teams to implement access controls, secrets management, and compliance requirements.

- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.

- Deploy, monitor, and tune internal- and external-facing applications using cloud technologies.

- Use AI-assisted tools, including Azure Monitor and Copilot, to develop and enhance solutions.

- Collaborate with technical teams and operational environments as system needs require.

- Support reliable systems and platforms used by employees, customers, and warehouse operations.

## Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform operations.

- Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms.

- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and access control concepts.

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools; Azure Monitor is preferred.

- Strong scripting or automation skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting API platforms and integration services.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or similar.

- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO.

- Experience supporting high-availability, customer-facing platforms.

- Background in enterprise or regulated environments.
