Role Overview

The Network Connectivity Team Lead is responsible for leading, mentoring, and governing a multi-regional connectivity team that designs, delivers, and operates core and regional network services.

This role ensures alignment between global core architecture and regional execution, driving consistent delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the network estate.

The position blends people leadership, technical authority, and cross-functional coordination, acting as the bridge between strategy, architecture, and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & People Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed network connectivity team (core and regional resources).

Set clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability for team members.

Support skill development across architecture, operations, and emerging technologies.

Foster a culture of ownership, resilience, collaboration, and continuous learning.
2. Core & Regional Network Coordination

Coordinate connectivity initiatives across:

Global core networks

Regional and site networks

Data center, cloud, and edge environments

Ensure regional projects align with global network standards, architectures, and roadmaps.

Act as the primary escalation point for cross-region network issues and dependencies.
3. Network Project & Program Management

Lead and govern network initiatives and transformation projects, including:

Network refresh and modernization

WAN / SD-WAN expansions

Cloud and data center connectivity

Security and segmentation initiatives

Plan, prioritize, and track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.

4. Technical Leadership & Decision-Making

Experience/Qualifications:

9+ years of experience in enterprise or service-provider network environments.
