Role Overview

The Network Connectivity Team Lead is responsible for leading, mentoring, and governing a multi-regional connectivity team that designs, delivers, and operates core and regional network services.

-
This role ensures alignment between global core architecture and regional execution, driving consistent delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the network estate.

-
The position blends people leadership, technical authority, and cross-functional coordination, acting as the bridge between strategy, architecture, and day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & People Management

-
Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed network connectivity team (core and regional resources).

-
Set clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability for team members.

-
Support skill development across architecture, operations, and emerging technologies.

-
Foster a culture of ownership, resilience, collaboration, and continuous learning.

2. Core & Regional Network Coordination

-
Coordinate connectivity initiatives across:

-
Global core networks

-
Regional and site networks

-
Data center, cloud, and edge environments

-
Ensure regional projects align with global network standards, architectures, and roadmaps.

Act as the primary escalation point for cross-region network issues and dependencies.

3. Network Project & Program Management

Lead and govern network initiatives and transformation projects, including:

Network refresh and modernization

-
WAN / SD-WAN expansions

-
Cloud and data center connectivity

-
Security and segmentation initiatives

-
Plan, prioritize, and track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Coordinate across stakeholders including:

Architecture

Security

Infrastructure

Application and business teams

External vendors and service providers

4. Technical Leadership & Decision-Making

Provide hands-on technical leadership across:

Network architecture and design

Implementation and migration

Operations and troubleshooting

Incident resolution approaches

Ensure network solutions meet availability, performance, scalability, and security requirements.

5. Operational Excellence & Governance

Drive consistent operational practices across regions:

Incident, problem, and change management

Root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Establish and monitor KPIs such as:

Ensure compliance with internal standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Experience & Qualifications

9+ years of experience in enterprise or service-provider network environments.

Demonstrated experience in:

Network operations and delivery

-
Technical leadership roles

-
Cross-regional or global teams

-
Prior experience in team lead, technical lead, or manager roles strongly preferred.

English and French B2-C1.
