Key Responsibilities

Operational Quality & Network Stability:
-
KPI Management: Monitor and improve key operational metrics across the delivery network/franchisees, including collection rate, delivery rate, transit time (SLA/P90), backlogs, customer complaint rates, and loss/damage rates.

Inspections & Corrective Actions: Conduct regular on-site and data-driven audits of local branches and hubs; identify operational anomalies and non-compliance, and enforce corrective action plans.

Risk Control & Emergency Response: Establish contingency plans for peak seasons, extreme weather, or local operational failures to ensure continuous, stable network performance.

Lifecycle Management of Franchisees / Subcontractors:

Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee qualification audits, performance evaluations, and contract management for new franchisees/subcontractors; manage the exit/offboarding process for underperforming partners.

Enablement & Training: Train partners on standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and operational management to improve local performance.

Dispute Resolution: Mediate disputes between branches, hubs, and subcontractors regarding delivery settlements, scanning compliance, and service boundaries.

Network Planning & Cost Optimization:

Routing & Coverage: Collaborate with network planning teams to optimize last-mile delivery zones, eliminate service blind spots, and streamline linehaul/feeder routes.

Cost Efficiency: Analyze and optimize last-mile payout structures, transport costs, and sorting center efficiency to lower overall cost-per-piece.

New Vendor Sourcing:

Searching and monitoring new vendors.
Experience/Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related fields.

3+ years of experience in the express delivery or parcel logistics industry, with at least 2 years in network management, subcontractor management, or hub operations.

Deep understanding of end-to-end parcel operations (pickup, sorting, linehaul, last-mile delivery), last-mile cost structures, and settlement models.

Strong data analytical skills; proficient in logistics management systems and reporting tools to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Excellent interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and vendor management skills.

Strong result orientation, capability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel or conduct hands-on field visits.

Fluency in German and English.
