The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator to join an established finance team in Vancouver.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong end-to-end AR experience who is comfortable managing a variety of customer accounts, resolving complex issues, and working independently. You’ll also act as a senior resource within the team, providing guidance and support to more junior team members.

Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities across a portfolio of customer accounts

- Support billing, collections, cash application, credit reviews and account reconciliations

- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding account issues

- Monitor customer accounts and assist with credit and collection decisions

- Work with internal teams to resolve billing and payment matters

- Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation

- Assist with AR reporting, procedures and internal controls

- Support and mentor junior team members with more complex transactions

- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and workflows

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field

- 4+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable, credit, collections or related accounting experience

- Strong understanding of the full accounts receivable cycle

- Experience with credit, collections, billing, cash application and reconciliations

Compensation & Benefits

- $70,000–$80,000 base salary
