Estimator – Commercial & Retail Construction
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $85k–$125k + Auto allowance + Bonus + Tech Package + 401k match + PTO

A respected Houston-based commercial General Contractor is looking to bring on an Estimator to support ground-up commercial projects up to $10M+. This is a long-term role for someone who wants full project ownership, consistent work, and a strong internal team.
Your Responsibility:
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and complete estimates
- Carry assigned projects end-to-end through final bid
- Develop budgets, proposals, and bid packages
- Analyze subcontractor pricing and perform scope reviews
- Support value engineering and bid review meetings
- Collaborate with PMs and Superintendents during preconstruction
- Maintain cost data and current market pricing insights
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of commercial estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Proven estimating on ground-up projects $5M–$10M+
- Ability to carry bids independently from takeoff through submission
- Strong understanding of materials, subcontractor pricing, and construction methods
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
