Credit Specialist
You might be a credit officer or analyst, portfolio manager, credit risk lead, restructuring specialist, or lending operations specialist.
Rayify is hiring credit experts for two jobs:
- Designing workflows across the credit lifecycle, and;
- Evaluating Rayify platform outputs for accuracy, rigour and domain quality.
The engagement is remote and hourly. You are paid from the first session.
We invite applicants from around the world.
About Rayify
Rayify builds Agentic AI workflows and decision intelligence systems for regulated financial services - insurance, credit and private markets - deployable on your own infrastructure, trained on your data, auditable for boards and regulators, and designed to keep outputs traceable and secure. We also run AI training and enablement for the financial institutions, from technical hands-on workshops to non-technical sessions for business teams, executive and board audiences.
What you'll do
Design the workflows
- Paid working sessions mapping credit workflows: the steps, decision points, checks, handoffs and failure modes
- Co-design workflow specifications an agent can be built, validated and tested against, covering inputs, outputs, escalation points and success metrics
- Define new tasks that reflect how the work gets done in practice.
Evaluate the outputs
- Review and grade AI-generated outputs against domain quality rubrics, flagging missing steps, factual errors, thin reasoning, flawed assumptions, and outputs.
- Produce instruction specs and golden examples: the reference deliverables that define what "correct" looks like for an agent
- Design difficult credit tasks and evaluation sets, and help develop domain-specific skills and tools with the research team
- Calibrate with researchers and specialists in adjacent fields so standards stay consistent
The workflows we cover
- Credit policy: credit policy drafts, mandate and eligibility criteria
- Origination and pre-screening: borrower research and outreach, referral capture into a single record, mandate-fit screens, screening memos, term sheet drafts
- Underwriting and credit analysis: financial spreading, document-to-spread extraction, downside cases, risk ratings, sector and borrower analysis
- Credit committee: credit papers and memos, committee packs, conditions of approval, decisions filed to the log
- Documentation and closing: precedent deviation reads, conditions precedent tracking and alerts, closing checklists
- Loan administration: notice and statement drafts, interest and fee runs
- Covenant and portfolio monitoring: compliance certificate review, covenant tests on schedule, annual reviews, portfolio reports
- Amendments, collections and workouts: waiver memo drafts, amendment version control, arrears strategies, restructuring proposals, recovery plans
- Repayments and exit: payoff checks, redemption and exit calculations
- Reporting and wind-down: investor statement drafts, periodic reporting to deadline
You do not need to cover all of these. Tell us where you have owned the work.
Who this suits
Must have
- Eight or more years of hands-on credit experience, where you owned these workflows yourself
- Direct ownership of at least one full cycle: a facility from screen to committee approval, an annual review cycle across a portfolio, or a workout from watchlist to resolution
- Native or professional fluency in English
- High proficiency with the tools the work gets done in, meaning Excel above all, plus Word and PowerPoint or the Google Workspace equivalents
- The ability to turn a judgement call into written criteria an engineer or researcher can act on
Nice to have
- CFA, ACT, or a bank credit training programme pedigree
- Hands-on use of LLMs in your professional work, and the judgement to tell a well-reasoned answer from a plausible-sounding wrong one
- Prior experience evaluating or training AI systems
You might be a credit officer or analyst, portfolio manager, credit risk lead, restructuring specialist, or lending operations specialist.
