We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys turning ideas into real, working products.
In this role, you will work across the full product lifecycle — from shaping early concepts and rapidly building prototypes to deploying, operating, and evolving production-ready applications. You will have the autonomy to make pragmatic technical decisions, experiment with new approaches, and work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to learn quickly from real users and continuously improve what you build.
This is a highly hands-on role suited to a product-minded engineer who is comfortable working with ambiguity and enjoys balancing speed of delivery with strong engineering practices. You will work across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and deployment, with Node.js forming a key part of the technology landscape.
Responsibilities1. Full Stack Product Development
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain modern web applications across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and deployment.
- Build products end-to-end, translating product ideas and user needs into working software that can be tested and iterated quickly.
- Develop secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions using modern software engineering practices.
- Remain hands-on in software development, actively writing, reviewing, and shipping production-quality code.
2. Solution Architecture & Engineering
- Make pragmatic architecture and technology decisions that balance delivery speed, quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Design and integrate APIs, backend services, databases, and cloud-based infrastructure to support evolving product requirements.
- Establish fit-for-purpose engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, security, and deployment automation.
- Identify and implement reusable engineering patterns and practices that improve development efficiency across the team.
3. Rapid Product Delivery & Experimentation
- Work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces, turning early-stage concepts and requirements into functional prototypes and production-ready products.
- Take an iterative, delivery-focused approach, using user feedback and evidence to continuously improve solutions.
- Support products throughout their lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping through implementation, deployment, operation, and enhancement.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows where appropriate to accelerate software development and improve engineering productivity.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders from product discovery through delivery and iteration.
- Translate business and user requirements into practical technical solutions and implementation plans.
- Contribute technical expertise and recommendations while maintaining a strong focus on product outcomes and user needs.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with recent experience actively developing and deploying production applications.
- Strong and recent hands-on experience with Node.js and the modern Node.js ecosystem.
- Proven experience delivering web applications end-to-end, covering frontend, backend, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security, and software engineering best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently make sound technical and architectural decisions in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in startup, innovation, rapid-prototyping, or fast-moving product development environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development, including AI coding agents, code generation, or automated code review.
- Proven track record of taking products from initial idea or prototype through to production.
- Experience working in cross-functional Agile product teams alongside product managers and designers.
- Strong product mindset with a bias toward delivery, experimentation, user feedback, and continuous iteration.
