We are looking for experienced Full Stack Engineers to join a project team delivering a modern, production-grade digital platform. You will work across frontend and backend development, building scalable applications, integrations and user-facing features in a cloud environment.
The Role
- Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and production-grade full-stack applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build modern, responsive frontend applications using frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop and integrate application features across identity, notifications, scheduling, attendance, reporting, search and personalisation
- Implement secure authentication, authorisation, audit logging and data protection controls
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Deploy and maintain applications in a cloud environment
- Contribute to CI/CD, containerisation, infrastructure-as-code and monitoring practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from design through to production
Job Requirements / Experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Experience building mobile-responsive web applications and/or Progressive Web Apps (PWA)
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or DynamoDB
- Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), audit logging and data compliance requirements
- Experience integrating Singpass, MyInfo and/or Corppass
- Experience integrating email/SMS notification services such as AWS SES, SNS or Twilio
- Experience developing scheduling and availability management features
- Experience implementing attendance tracking mechanisms such as QR-based check-in/check-out
- Experience developing dashboards and reports, including exportable formats such as PDF and Excel
- Experience implementing search and filtering functionality
- Experience building recommendation, matching or personalisation features based on factors such as similarity, preferences or past activity
- Experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs, such as OpenAI or similar
- Hands-on cloud experience with services such as AWS EC2, Lambda and RDS, including application deployment and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CDK, and monitoring/observability practices
- Proven track record delivering production-grade applications
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred
- Prior experience delivering citizen-facing government systems is advantageous
