Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for an NLP & LLM Engineering (Blockchain) professional based in Sir Bani Yas, with some flexibility for working from home. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing NLP and large language model (LLM) pipelines integrated with blockchain-based systems and smart contracts. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and fine-tuning models for tasks such as text understanding, generation, and dialogue, as well as creating APIs and microservices that connect AI components with Birbal Coin and other digital ownership platforms. The engineer will collaborate with product, blockchain, and data teams to define requirements, conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and deploy solutions that are secure, scalable, and efficient. The role also includes documentation, code reviews, and active participation in improving engineering standards and best practices in a fast-evolving AI and Web3 environment.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Excellent analytical skills for designing, evaluating, and optimizing NLP and LLM solutions and blockchain integrations.
- Project management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver AI and blockchain features on schedule in a hybrid work setting.
- Foundational understanding of engineering principles; exposure to manufacturing or mechanical engineering is a plus where systems thinking and structured problem-solving are required.
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), with experience fine-tuning LLMs and deploying NLP models in production.
- Experience with blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, smart contracts, Solidity, or similar), and familiarity with digital assets or DeFi concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD practices for scalable AI and microservice deployment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
