About the Role
We are seeking a Clerk, Bakery Warehouse - 2nd Shift 1 to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As a Clerk, Bakery Warehouse - 2nd Shift 1, you will be accountable for ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of finished goods throughout warehouse and shipping operations. This role plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting on-time customer deliveries, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and operational standards.

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
- Coordinate warehouse shipping and receiving activities to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, transaction verification, and inventory control processes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and product handling standards throughout warehouse operations.
- Support efficient warehouse execution by monitoring workflow, minimizing delays, and maintaining shipment integrity.
- Communicate with internal teams, carriers, and customers to resolve issues and support operational performance.
- Train and support team members on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and departmental expectations.
- Operate warehouse equipment and inventory management systems to facilitate storage, receiving, and shipping activities.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Stand-up forklift operating experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and data entry systems.
- Ability to accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain inventory and production records.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and food manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, or light industrial environment.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse documentation processes.
- Previous experience training or onboarding warehouse team members.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
- Experience operating automated warehouse equipment, robotics, or receiving systems.
