The Role
• Support the mission of a critical Air Force planning system by performing integration, formal, and informal manual verification and validation of new and updated software.
• Test all product aspects throughout the software development lifecycle, from development through delivery.
• Create and execute manual testing procedures to evaluate software performance and identify deficiencies.
• Collaborate with other engineers to define the best technical design and approach for new product development.
• Adhere to Agile processes and software testing best practices, utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration.
• Assist in the creation and updating of relevant test documentation and specifications.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in writing and developing test procedures.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, LINUX, etc.).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
