The Role
• Support Chief Engineers in identifying service gaps and improvement areas to drive innovation and evolve IT systems against current and future requirements.
• Lead the analysis of alternatives and proof-of-concept development for approved improvements, focusing on standardization, automation, and streamlining processes.
• Partner with project teams to ensure execution aligns with the intent of approved improvements.
• Conduct initial feasibility assessments and detailed analysis of alternatives for candidate initiatives.
• Document and present analysis results to stakeholders through engineering review boards.
• Oversee proofs of concept to deliver demonstrable, measurable insight into candidate improvements.
What You'll Need
• BS degree and 12+ years of relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure and solutions architecture, including cloud and on-premise virtualized environments.
• 8+ years architecting enterprise workloads on major cloud platforms, including architecture, deployment, and optimization.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and resilient on-premise and cloud-based virtualized infrastructures.
• Demonstrated ability to automate infrastructure and operational tasks with scripting languages in a production environment.
• Experience architecting and managing enterprise identity and directory services at scale.
• Ability to produce architecture artifacts and present designs to executive leadership and technical review boards.
