An established and technology-focused organisation is seeking an IT Business Systems Administrator to manage, support, and continuously improve its business systems landscape, with Oracle NetSuite ERP at the core. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Operations teams, ensuring business-critical systems remain secure, efficient, and optimised for performance.
The successful candidate will act as the technical custodian of the ERP environment and associated applications, providing advanced system support, driving automation initiatives, maintaining data integrity, and implementing solutions that improve operational effectiveness. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with business process improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and support Oracle NetSuite ERP and related business applications.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL queries, reports, stored procedures, and database performance.
- Support financial, procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processes within the ERP environment.
- Monitor and maintain integrations between business systems and third-party applications.
- Provide second- and third-line support for business-critical systems and applications.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Deliver user training, maintain technical documentation, and support system enhancement projects.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in an IT Business Systems Administrator, ERP Administrator, or Business Systems Support role.
- Proven experience administering Oracle NetSuite ERP.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including advanced query development and reporting.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and workflow automation platforms.
- Working knowledge of financial management, inventory control, procurement, and supply chain processes.
- Cloud computing fundamentals, preferably within Azure environments.
- Experience supporting ERP systems within mining, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
