2. About the Opportunity:
The Data Scientist role supports the development of analytical models to enhance product quality, manage risk, and inform business decisions. By applying statistical and machine learning techniques, the position contributes insights that drive data-informed improvements. 3. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop and refine models and analytics processes
• Apply scientific methods, statistics, and algorithms to identify trends and opportunities
• Explore data to develop predictive features for modeling
• Write SQL queries and work with cloud-based data warehouses for large-scale data analysis
• Design and implement algorithms to address complex problems
• Document workflows, data definitions, and processes to support compliance and knowledge sharing
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
• 2 to 4+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or similar quantitative roles
• Knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries such as scikit-learn
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Skilled in writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity with large datasets
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication of insights
Preferred qualifications include experience with modern data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift), use of Git/version control, and understanding of data quality best practices.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Base salary range is $150,000 to $225,000 annually, determined by experience, skills, role scope, and location
• Eligibility for equity grants and bonuses
