About Our Client:

About the Opportunity:

The Property Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with lease provisions related to repair and maintenance obligations between the organization and landlords. This role facilitates communication and coordination with landlords to manage maintenance issues, monitors progress on repairs, and ensures timely enforcement of lease terms, contributing to effective property and lease management.

Responsibilities:

• Contact landlords regarding maintenance and repair issues related to building and common areas under landlord responsibility.

• Coordinate shopping center projects with landlords and obtain real estate approval if applicable.

• Review leases and amendments to determine necessary actions.

• Advise facility coordinators on repair or replacement responsibilities under leases.

• Issue legal and casualty notice letters as required by lease terms.

• Facilitate timely completion of repairs or replacements by landlords and explain lease provisions when needed.

• Set deadlines for self-help rights with approval from property management leadership.

• Monitor and collect reimbursements from landlords for self-help actions.

• Update maintenance and repair responsibility information in Site Link with proper legal documentation.

• Research and provide information for estoppels and waivers to real estate law and property management.

• Perform various projects and assignments as required by the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent property management experience in a retail environment preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in property management or lease administration.

• Ability to understand legal terminology and interpret lease clauses effectively.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The base pay range for this role is $27.02 to $40.34 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location.
