## About the Role
The Principal Data Scientist will serve as the statistical voice of the Data Science organization, providing company-wide analytical leadership and translating complex data science findings into actionable insights for the CEO, C-suite, and Board of Directors. This individual contributor role focuses on statistical rigor, strategic analysis, methodology development, executive communication, and cross-functional influence.
## Qualifications
* 15+ years of experience in data science, statistics, or quantitative research
* Proven experience presenting statistical and data science concepts to C-suite and Board-level audiences
* Broad expertise in experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, optimization, and machine learning
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Experience setting analytical standards and mentoring senior data scientists
* Experience at the intersection of statistics and large-scale technology or data platforms
* Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
* Academic research or teaching experience preferred
* Experience at multiple tier-1 technology companies preferred
* Published research or recognized thought leadership in applied statistics preferred
* Experience building or leading a Chief Statistician or equivalent function preferred
* Experience in infrastructure, platform, or systems-oriented data science preferred
