We are seeking a Senior IT Artificial Intelligence (AI) Architect/Designer to support the development and implementation of AI solutions within a large public-sector environment. The successful candidate will develop AI strategy and architecture, translating organizational requirements into conceptual, logical and physical architectures for AI-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), combined with enterprise, application and technology architecture experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to the organization's Artificial Intelligence (AI) strategy.
- Design conceptual, logical and physical architectures for AI solutions.
- Define architecture approaches that support the development, integration and deployment of AI solutions.
- Assess and apply emerging technologies and industry trends across AI, Machine Learning and Data Science.
- Develop Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture and Technology Architecture deliverables and models.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable AI architecture solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement activities, including presentations, briefings and meetings.
- Communicate complex AI and technology concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support project planning and delivery through strong project management and analytical skills.
- Continuously evaluate advancements in AI and related technologies to identify opportunities for improving existing and future solutions.

- Hands-on experience developing an AI strategy for an organization.
- Experience creating conceptual, logical and physical architectures for AI solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Machine Learning (ML)
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Strong understanding of current AI, Machine Learning and Data Science technology trends and advancements.
- Experience developing Enterprise Architecture deliverables/models.
- Experience developing Application Architecture deliverables/models.
- Experience developing Technology Architecture deliverables/models.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience and knowledge in Project Management.
