## About the Role
Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable infrastructure and architecture for consuming, processing, and interpreting large, complex document corpora. You will work with modern AI/ML technologies and Generative AI to build systems capable of handling diverse encoded rules and complex datasets.
This fully remote opportunity is with a well-funded AI startup working on a greenfield platform. You will collaborate across frontend and backend teams, contribute to rapid AI solution development, and help shape machine learning infrastructure and product capabilities.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement scalable machine learning infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and interpretation.
* Architect robust systems that accommodate varied encoded rules while supporting accurate and compliant AI/ML outputs.
* Develop machine learning models, particularly for knowledge graph applications.
* Build evaluation frameworks to assess model performance.
* Iterate rapidly on models and solutions based on evaluation results and feedback.
* Apply Generative AI expertise to develop cutting-edge AI/ML solutions.
* Integrate Generative AI into existing and new machine learning pipelines.
* Collaborate with frontend and backend engineering teams to support rapid iteration and deployment.
* Use modern version control systems such as GitHub to manage code repositories.
* Promote best practices in code quality and codebase management.
## Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in machine learning and software development, with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure.
* Proven expertise in Generative AI (GAI).
* Expert proficiency in Python.
* Experience with cross-language collaboration and codebase management.
* Strong experience with modern version control systems such as GitHub.
* Advanced knowledge of AI/ML model development, evaluation, and rapid iteration.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to architect and implement scalable solutions for complex problems.
