Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Java / Kotlin Software Engineer to join a banking technology environment in Zurich, working on modern client-facing platforms and cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing microservices for integrating platforms into a cloud environment
- Designing and implementing scalable solutions using Java, Kotlin and Spring
- Testing and validating developed solutions
- Improving and further developing operational processes
- Working closely with Product Owners, Business Engineers and Architects
- Advising stakeholders on technical feasibility and solution options
- Contributing ideas and helping shape services and solutions
Key Requirements:
- Several years of professional experience in Java software development
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Spring/Spring Boot and Microservices
- Experience within the banking sector
- Ideally, experience in Client Onboarding, Digital Product Sales or Client Lifecycle Management
- Experience with cloud-based applications, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Good knowledge of Angular
Nice to have:
- Experience with Camunda or Flowable
- Experience in digital banking/client-facing applications
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application development
