The office is in central Tokyo and the salary is up to 25M JPY / annum.
Position Description
This position takes complete ownership of the requirements definition, prompt engineering, and UX strategy for core AI features within a global consumer application. You will actively design and tune complex prompts, map out multi-modal interactions, and establish rigorous quantitative evaluation frameworks to manage AI output quality and mitigate hallucinations. Working closely with research and software engineering teams, you will prototype rapidly using modern AI coding tools, influence system architecture such as RAG pipelines, and directly shape how users interact with advanced intelligence models on a daily basis.
Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years of product management experience shipping consumer-facing mobile applications or web services
• Strong hands-on experience with advanced prompt engineering, complex conditional branching, and LLM output evaluation
• Solid technical foundation with a clear understanding of APIs, data structures like JSON, and the ability to partner deeply with software engineers
• Fluency in either English or Japanese paired with at least business-level proficiency in the other
