Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Support the implementation of early childhood education programs aligned with best practices and curriculum standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and daily needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with daily administrative tasks such as record keeping and activity planning
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that celebrates diversity and individual needs
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide and support young children effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation needs or outreach activities
- Passionate about child development with a proactive attitude toward creating positive learning environments
Pay: £28,000.00-£37,993.03 per year
