Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (International Relations, Business Administration, Marketing, Education, Communications, or similar); a Master's is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in or with universities/academic institutions in a role responsible for managing relationships with external entities or other universities (this is a mandatory requirement — applicants without it will not be considered).
- Demonstrated track record of establishing and maintaining inter-institutional partnerships (e.g., MOUs, collaboration agreements, joint programs, articulation or exchange agreements).
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in proactive outreach — identifying, contacting, and building relationships with new partner institutions.
- Experience negotiating and drafting partnership agreements or MOUs and managing them through internal approvals.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to senior academic and administrative stakeholders.
Essential Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to represent the institution credibly to external partners.
- Strong relationship / account management skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of active partnerships.
- Cross-cultural competence and comfort working across time zones and international counterparts.
- Project management and organization — tracking pipelines, deliverables, and partnership outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to represent the institution professionally and communicate effectively with international partners.
Preferred / Desirable
- Experience in international education partnerships specifically (dual degrees, faculty/student mobility, research collaboration).
- Familiarity with the regional higher-education landscape and Ministry of Education requirements/KPIs.
- Existing network within academic or partnership circles.
- Willingness to travel for delegations, conferences, and partner site visits.
