Key Responsibilities
- Design Review – Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Technical Support – Provide design and technical support to Project Managers, Site Engineers, construction and technical teams throughout all phases of the project.
- Documentation – Prepare and submit architectural documents, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical reports.
- Coordination – Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients regarding design and project requirements.
- Site Inspections – Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Issue Resolution – Identify, investigate, and resolve architectural and design issues encountered during construction.
- Project Planning – Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
- Material Selection – Verify quantities, review bill of materials, and assist in material and equipment selection.
- Compliance – Ensure all architectural works comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and company policies.
- Quality Assurance – Support QA/QC activities by ensuring proper implementation of project specifications.
- Process Improvement – Recommend design and process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- PRC Licensed Architect is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and applicable building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
