Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator / CRM Executive will play a key role in supporting the sales team by managing customer relationships, coordinating order processing, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, production, and logistics. The candidate will primarily handle B2B Tier 2 customers and OEM component manufacturers within the sheet metal and engineered components industry, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation, and superior client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 2 and OEM clients.
- Maintain and update CRM databases with customer information, inquiries, and communication logs.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to promote repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Coordinate with the sales team to follow up on leads, quotations, and pending orders.
2. Sales Coordination
- Prepare and issue quotations, proforma invoices, and sales orders in coordination with sales and production teams.
- Track order status from quotation to dispatch, ensuring adherence to customer delivery schedules.
- Liaise with the production, planning, and logistics departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor pricing, margins, and contract terms to ensure compliance with company policies.
3. OEM / B2B Client Management:
- Handle key accounts in Tier 2 and OEM segments, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
- Understand client requirements for sheet metal and engineered components, including specifications, tolerances, and drawings.
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams for new product development or sample submissions.
- Support in vendor registration processes, audits, and documentation for OEMs.
4. Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain sales trackers, order status reports, and forecast summaries.
- Generate CRM reports and analyze sales trends, customer performance, and pipeline health.
- Support management in developing pricing strategies and sales forecasts.
5. Documentation & Communication:
- Manage and verify all sales-related documentation including PO, invoices, and dispatch details.
- Ensure timely communication of order confirmations, production updates, and delivery schedules to clients.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and tender documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination or CRM in a manufacturing / engineering / automotive components company.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, press parts, or engineered component manufacturing preferred.
- Experience working with Tier 2 suppliers or OEM clients is highly desirable.
