Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Azure Platform Engineer to join our engineering team at WebSenor in Udaipur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to build reliable CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, manage Azure resources, monitor applications and infrastructure, and improve overall platform reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and related services.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Manage cloud environments across development, staging, and production.
- Configure and manage networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, private endpoints, and VPNs.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, application, and production issues.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity strategies.
- Manage secrets, certificates, and sensitive configuration using Azure Key Vault.
- Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and RBAC.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment and infrastructure architecture.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker and, where applicable, Kubernetes / AKS.
- Maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation.
- Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive-action planning.
- Stay updated with Azure services, DevOps practices, cloud security, and emerging platform technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Good understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and version-control systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Good understanding of cloud networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and security concepts.
- Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Understanding of Azure identity and access management, including Azure Entra ID and RBAC.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Understanding of deployment strategies such as blue-green, rolling, and canary deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of DevOps principles and software development lifecycle.
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes deployment management.
- Experience with Terraform and reusable infrastructure modules.
- Familiarity with security and compliance practices in Azure.
- Knowledge of Azure networking and private connectivity.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, or similar security/code-quality tools.
- Experience with centralized logging and observability platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure cost optimization and FinOps principles.
- Familiarity with databases, message queues, and application integration services.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Azure Administration, or Platform Engineering.
- Strong practical experience with Azure infrastructure and automation.
- Candidates with relevant certifications and hands-on project experience will be preferred.
