Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer – Generative AI to design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, traditional ML, NLP, Chatbots, Conversational AI, and Agentic AI, along with solid software engineering and cloud experience.
The engineer will help drive responsible AI adoption, build scalable AI solutions, and collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to address complex business and healthcare challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive responsible adoption of AI/ML, Generative AI, and traditional ML techniques across engineering teams.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve AI-powered software solutions.
- Build responsible and secure AI solutions that comply with applicable ethical, security, and regulatory standards.
- Develop AI/ML features leveraging LLMs, Generative AI, predictive analytics, NLP, and automation.
- Design and implement Chatbots and Conversational AI solutions.
- Develop and integrate Agentic AI solutions, including MCP or similar agent orchestration frameworks and Strands Agents.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering Leaders to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Align AI initiatives with enterprise AI strategy, business objectives, and engineering best practices.
- Integrate AI capabilities into cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery, production readiness, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Implement appropriate security, access controls, logging, monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery practices.
- Mentor and train team members on AI/ML technologies, frameworks, engineering practices, and Responsible AI.
- Independently prioritize, plan, and manage AI-related activities and projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building AI/ML solutions.
- Strong experience with:
- LLMs and Generative AI
- Traditional Machine Learning
- NLP
- Chatbots and Conversational AI
- Agentic AI
- Hands-on experience with MCP or similar agent orchestration frameworks and Strands Agents.
- 4+ years of Web and API development experience.
- 4+ years of experience hosting applications in cloud environments, with AWS preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade AI applications.
- Strong understanding of:
