Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Validation Engineer (Automation) / Sr. Validation Engineer (Automation) to join our team in Udaipur. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software validation, test automation, test tool development, and mobile application testing.
The candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities and be comfortable working closely with clients and cross-functional teams throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform requirement analysis and understand functional and technical specifications.
- Plan and execute software validation activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions.
- Develop and enhance test tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.
- Perform mobile application testing and automation.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and validation strategies.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in client interactions and provide technical support when required.
- Provide onsite support during site pilot deployment and initial production deployment.
- Prepare test reports, validation reports, and other required documentation.
- Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end users when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation frameworks, and validation methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Test Automation.
- Experience in Test Tool Development.
- Hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing and Automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing and validation processes.
- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze complex requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Software Security Concepts.
- Experience working with automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Knowledge of different software testing methodologies.
- Experience supporting client deployments and production releases.
- Ability to conduct training sessions for end users.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BE/B.Tech graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any Engineering discipline.
- 4–9 years of relevant experience in Software Testing, Validation, and Test Automation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder and client interaction skills.
- Willingness to provide onsite support during pilot and production deployments when required.
