Responsibilities
- Direct financial reporting activities to ensure compliance with accounting regulations, laws and standards
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities for monthly-closing in SAP
- Review financial statements, balance sheet account schedules annd variance analyis
- Liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audits
- Support management reporting requirements to joint venture partners, government authorities and other stakeholders
- Analyse and interpret impact of new accounting standards, reporting requirements and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
- Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with proven track record in process improvements and operational accounting
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong people management, communication and organisational skills
