Data Scientist
EpochGeo is looking for a Mid-Level Data Scientist to work on challenging problems where large, complex datasets are transformed into meaningful insights and actionable intelligence.

At EpochGeo, you won't simply analyze data in isolation. You'll work alongside a highly collaborative team to identify meaningful patterns, develop analytical methods, experiment with AI/ML techniques, and translate your findings into operational capabilities that directly support our customers' missions.
Your background likely includes:
- 5+ years of experience and a Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or the like
- Strong experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics
- Proven ability to parse through geospatial big data to discover patterns and insights
- Excellent communication skills
What you will be doing:
- Conducting data analytics, data engineering, and data mining to uncover insights and inform decisions.
- Building machine learning tools, such as recommendation engines and lead scoring systems.
- Performing statistical analysis and automation to discover patterns
- Visualizing data and creating narrative products
- Managing, merging, and analyzing large, disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Additional:
- Must hold a TS/SCI clearance and hold or be willing to submit for a CI Poly

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
