Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Data Scientist with a specialized focus on Cybersecurity to join our forward-thinking analytics team. Duties

- Develop and implement machine learning models for real-time threat detection and anomaly identification in large-scale cybersecurity datasets.

- Utilize unsupervised learning techniques to uncover hidden patterns and emerging threats within complex data environments.

- Design and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data from diverse sources such as SQL databases, Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms like AWS for analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing security infrastructure and automate threat response workflows.

- Conduct statistical analysis for research purposes, evaluating model performance through rigorous model training, evaluation, and deployment procedures.

- Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze unstructured data such as logs, alerts, or threat intelligence feeds.

- Leverage machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and Spark implementation for scalable model training and deployment across big data systems.

Skills

- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, Bash (Unix shell), and VBA for data analysis and model development.

- Extensive experience with machine learning/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and generative AI tools for predictive modeling analysis.

- Strong knowledge of big data systems including Hadoop, Spark, Talend, and SQL databases for managing large-scale datasets.

- Expertise in cloud-based AI implementation using AWS machine learning cloud services for scalable analytics solutions.

- Skilled in statistical modeling techniques and statistical analysis tools for research and threat assessment purposes.

- Familiarity with database design principles and data mining methodologies to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

- Experience with natural language processing (NLP), data analytics platforms like Looker, and data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.

- Understanding of quantum engineering concepts is a plus for advanced cybersecurity applications.
