Role Overview

We are seeking seasoned Business Development Managers with strong experience in healthcare technology sales who can build relationships with healthcare decision-makers, drive consultative sales conversations, and consistently close business opportunities.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of hospital workflows, healthcare operations, and the challenges faced by clinics and hospitals in their digital transformation journey.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-growing healthcare technology environment and directly contribute to expanding our footprint across India.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development

- Drive sales of SaaS based HMIS/EHRs across assigned territories.

- Develop and execute regional growth strategies.

- Identify high-potential hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare chains.

- Create and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Consultative Selling

- Engage with hospital owners, directors, administrators, doctors, and operational leadership teams.

- Understand current workflows, operational challenges, and digitization requirements.

- Position our solutions through value-driven conversations rather than feature-only presentations.

- Demonstrate clear ROI around efficiency, patient engagement, operational visibility, and compliance.

Sales Execution

- Conduct product demonstrations and stakeholder presentations.

- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.

- Lead commercial discussions, proposal submissions, negotiations, and contract finalization.

- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

Relationship Management

- Develop long-term relationships with healthcare leaders.

- Maintain engagement with prospects through structured follow-ups.

- Collaborate closely with implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Market Intelligence

- Track competitive offerings in the HMIS and healthcare technology landscape.

- Gather insights on emerging trends including digital health initiatives, interoperability, healthcare compliance, and modernization efforts.

- Provide feedback to product teams regarding customer expectations and market requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

- 7–10 years of proven experience in B2B sales.

- Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare ecosystem.

- Experience engaging with hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, diagnostic centres, pharma companies, medical equipment manufacturers or healthcare enterprises.

- Ability to build relationships with CXOs, hospital promoters, administrators, and senior clinicians.

- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.

- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex buying processes.

- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.

Preferred

- Prior experience selling Hospital Management Systems (HIS/HMIS).

- Experience with EMR/EHR platforms, healthcare SaaS products, or digital health solutions.

- Familiarity with hospital departments including OPD, IPD, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Inventory, Finance, and Administration.

- Understanding of healthcare digitization initiatives, interoperability standards, and Indian healthcare regulations.

- Existing network within hospitals and healthcare institutions will be considered a significant advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per month
