Job Overview
The Site & Logistics Coordinator provides on-site and logistical support to the Project Supervisor across active restaurant projects. The role is primarily field-based and is responsible for coordinating supplier deliveries, arranging supplier access to sites, attending site meetings with suppliers and contractors, taking site measurements, recording site conditions, and assisting with the implementation of instructions issued by the Project Supervisor.
This is a junior project-support position. The role does not carry responsibility for overall project management, technical approvals, procurement decisions, programme control or contractor management. The Site & Logistics Coordinator works under the direction of the Project Supervisor and ensures that agreed actions are followed through accurately and efficiently on site.
A valid UAE driving licence is required. A company vehicle will be provided for project and supplier-related travel.
Key Responsibilities
Site & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate supplier and contractor visits to project sites as instructed by the Project Supervisor.
- Arrange and confirm supplier delivery dates, delivery times and site access requirements.
- Coordinate with landlords, malls, security and site teams regarding supplier access and deliveries.
- Attend supplier deliveries on site when required.
- Assist with checking delivered equipment and materials against delivery information and project requirements.
- Photograph deliveries, site conditions and completed works when required.
- Report missing, damaged or incorrect items immediately to the Project Supervisor.
Site Measurements & Information Gathering
- Attend site with suppliers, fabricators and contractors to assist with site measurements.
- Take accurate basic measurements as instructed by the Project Supervisor.
- Record dimensions, locations, levels and site conditions clearly.
- Take photographs and prepare basic site records to support supplier quotations, fabrication and installation.
- Confirm existing site conditions before suppliers proceed with fabrication where required.
- Escalate discrepancies between drawings, measurements and actual site conditions to the Project Supervisor.
Project Supervisor Support
- Assist the Project Supervisor with daily site coordination and follow-up activities.
- Carry out site-based instructions issued by the Project Supervisor.
- Follow up with suppliers and contractors on outstanding actions and provide updates to the Project Supervisor.
- Assist with coordinating installation dates and sequencing between suppliers and the site team.
- Attend site when required to confirm that supplier or contractor instructions have been understood and implemented.
- Support site inspections, snagging and punch-list activities.
- Assist with collecting warranties, manuals, delivery notes, photographs and other project information from suppliers.
Delivery & Logistics Management
- Maintain an up-to-date record of planned supplier deliveries for assigned projects.
- Confirm delivery requirements including access, loading areas, delivery restrictions and site contacts.
- Coordinate delivery vehicles and supplier arrival times with the site team.
- Assist with ensuring deliveries occur in accordance with landlord/mall requirements.
- Identify potential delivery conflicts and report them to the Project Supervisor.
- Assist with moving information and instructions between suppliers, contractors and the Project Supervisor.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain clear records of site visits, supplier meetings, measurements and delivery activities.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Supervisor on completed and outstanding actions.
- Immediately escalate site issues, delays, incorrect information or supplier problems.
- Ensure instructions received from the Project Supervisor are communicated accurately to the relevant supplier or contractor.
- Do not independently approve changes, variations, technical solutions or costs unless specifically authorized by the Project Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid UAE driving licence.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous experience in construction, fit-out, hospitality, facilities, procurement, logistics or a related field is advantageous.
- Comfortable travelling between multiple project sites and supplier locations.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Able to take and record accurate basic measurements.
- Basic understanding of construction and fit-out environments.
- Able to use a smartphone for photographs, WhatsApp communication and site records.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail.
- Able to communicate professionally with suppliers, contractors and site personnel.
- Physically capable of regularly attending active construction sites.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
