Job Summary
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a positive first impression by welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests within the restaurant while maintaining Momofuku's service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating arrangements.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Coordinate with the service team to optimize table availability and guest flow.
- Handle guest inquiries, phone calls, and reservation requests.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
- Assist in addressing guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow company policies, service standards, and grooming requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant operations is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of reservation and POS systems is an advantage.
