Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for all duties in the warehouse and ensuring that a quality product is delivered to the customer. The employee must ensure that orders are staged, and picked per procedure and must also ensure inventory levels are maintained properly in all systems. Fork Truck safety and maintenance will also be the responsibility of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as designated):
· Know and follow all applicable policies and procedures within our QMS System, including Hazard ID’s and JSA’s
· Report all HSE incidents, accidents, near misses and potential problems in a timely manner
· Will be expected to help train fellow employees in levels below them, sharing knowledge will help the department and PMG to grow. Training must be done per WI or Procedures
· Engage with fellow employees to drive Continuous Improvement
· Aim to have positive attitude and work together in a courteous and cordial manner. They should strive to help create an honest, trustworthy, and friendly work environment.
· Use TPM and 5S Methodologies to help optimize equipment availability and improve plant cleanliness and organization by working with maintenance, fellow employees, and leaders to improve overall productivity.
Fork trucks:
- Daily check sheets (every morning).
- Wrapping skids.
- Charging and equalizing batteries.
- Placing part number on the front of skid.
- Checking water levels.
- Placing skid in bins.
- Cleaning fork trucks (every Friday).
Checking inventory:
- Pulling orders.
- Counting inventory in bins.
- System shows different than physical (Check system to assure inventory is correct).
- Checking part numbers in bins.
- Bin to bin moves.
- Wrapping skids.
- Go back to old pick lists.
SAP:
- After receiving paper work.
- Double check orders.
- Running delivery notes for orders.
- Skid labels on skids.
- Moving routers daily.
- Any product that goes over seas pictures.
- Bin to bin moves.
- Delivery note and invoice on skid.
- Inventory per warehouse.
- Bin status (Report in SAP to show bin inventory).
- Trs for material (transfer orders by material).
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Outbound monitor for daily and weekly orders.
- Reprint pick list daily as needed.
- Unloading powder and putting it in bins.
- Weighing scrap when needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Special Projects/5S:
- Housekeeping.
- Take garbage out as needed.
- New warehouse layout.
- Sweeping floor.
- Doing what the supervisor asks.
- Picking up plastic, paper ect. On floor.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
