Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
Product Engineer:
Work with and provide assistance to tool design, and production personnel relating to new product launch, process troubleshooting and improvement. Continuous improvement and Quality Control are an expectation of this position, the employee will be expected to work with Manufacturing Engineering and Production employees to ensure a smooth process flow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as designated):
- Know and follow all applicable HSE policies and procedures, including Hazard ID's and JSA's. Report HSE incidents, accidents, near misses, and potential problems.
- Employee will have primary Tool Design responsibilities, this includes New Product and Process Improvements
- Process Development and Process Improvement are an expectation as part of Continuous Improvement in this role- it is an expectation that the employee will make process’s more efficient and effective to allow PMG PA to always have their competitive advantage
- Software Implementation as necessary, this includes Software training
- Tool cost improvement as a process of Continuous Improvement
- Process part drawings.
- NX transition and SW conversion.
- NX Modeling Process
Product Daily/QC/NPL Responsibility
- Specified customers
- Project Management of new products
- Update of BOS for NPL measure (F:\KPI Reporting\BOS)
Process Responsibility
- Tool Design Standards (implementation).
- Tool manufacturing improvement.
- Responsible to review/manage Temporary RCN’s (Request for Change Notices)
*Responsible to understand and use the Potential Problem Analysis Process and Form.
Responsible to participate in the completion of corrective actions.
*Support with duties of Department Manager where applicable
*All other duties as assigned.
*Responsible to review, understand and follow all documents in the QMS System

Education and/or Experience:
· 5 Years Manufacturing, PM Experience a Plus; Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering related field or equivalent experience.
Other Qualification and Skills Required:
· Ability to use complex mathematics including calculus and beyond, must be able to do complex problem solving.
· Ability to utilize various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office software (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK), ERP system, and other internal systems.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
