What You’ll Do

As a Contract Advisor, you will own and coordinate the end-to-end contract lifecycle for assigned opportunities, ensuring contracts progress efficiently, compliantly, and with clear stakeholder alignment.

Drive Contract Lifecycle Execution

- Own assigned contracts from intake through execution, serving as the operational lead throughout the contract lifecycle.

- Coordinate contract-related deliverables, approvals, milestones, and stakeholder activities to ensure timely execution.

- Monitor contract progress, proactively identify risks, and remove barriers that could delay execution.

- Maintain accountability for contract momentum, ensuring opportunities continue advancing toward completion.

- Provide consistent visibility into contract status, key risks, open items, and next steps.

Lead Cross-Functional Coordination

- Serve as the primary point of coordination between Commercial, Legal, Procurement, Finance, IT, Customer Success, and other business stakeholders.

- Facilitate meetings, discussions, approvals, and decision-making processes necessary to support contract execution.

- Coordinate communications with customers and external stakeholders when required.

- Build collaborative relationships that accelerate issue resolution and improve stakeholder alignment.

- Influence outcomes and drive progress without direct authority.

Ensure Contract Governance & Compliance

- Promote adherence to approved contract templates, clause libraries, policies, and governance standards.

- Route non-standard terms, contractual exceptions, and deviations to appropriate Legal and leadership resources.

- Ensure all required approvals are obtained, documented, and auditable.

- Maintain complete and accurate contract records throughout the contracting process.

- Support audit readiness and compliance with corporate contracting policies and procedures.

Manage Workflow and Operational Risk

- Monitor contract portfolios for bottlenecks, delays, workflow challenges, and execution risks.

- Escalate issues proactively to minimize impact on timelines and business objectives.

- Manage action items and stakeholder follow-through to maintain deal velocity.

- Support overall contract pipeline health through accurate tracking, reporting, and operational discipline.

Maintain Systems and Data Integrity

- Manage contract documentation, communications, milestones, and data within Agiloft and other approved business systems.

- Ensure contract records are complete, current, and consistently maintained.

- Support reporting needs related to contract execution, cycle times, and operational performance.

- Champion data integrity, process discipline, and system adoption across contract activities.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement

- Identify recurring challenges, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve contract lifecycle performance.

- Recommend and support workflow improvements that reduce cycle times and increase operational effectiveness.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.

- Support adoption of contract management technologies and process optimization initiatives.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

- 3–7 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, legal operations, procurement, sales operations, deal desk, project coordination, or a related business function.

- Experience coordinating complex workflows involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.

- Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, CRM platforms, or workflow automation tools.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records within enterprise systems.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

- Experience supporting commercial contracts, customer-facing agreements, software/SaaS contracts, healthcare contracts, or procurement agreements.

- Experience working within regulated industries or highly governed business environments.

- Familiarity with contract review processes, governance frameworks, approval workflows, and compliance requirements.

- Experience with Agiloft or similar CLM platforms.

- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.

- Experience supporting operational excellence, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives.

Base Compensation: $18.20 to $33.80

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset.
