What You’ll Do
1. Catalog Quality Assurance & Content Optimization
- Audit and standardize item names against naming conventions to improve search, discoverability, and consistency
- Review, edit, and optimize item descriptions for accuracy, clarity, and conversion
- Identify and fix data gaps: missing images, incorrect weights/volumes, wrong variants, duplicate listings
- Run regular catalog health checks and maintain issue trackers / resolution workflows
- Partner with merchants, ops, and internal teams to resolve catalog defects at scale
2. Taxonomy & Platform Experience
- Audit SKU categorization and map items to correct micro and macro categories
- Support category tree cleanup so navigation is intuitive and consistent across the app
- Conduct merchant menu and category structure reviews; enforce taxonomy standards
- Flag taxonomy gaps, misclassifications, and navigation friction for Category Manager review
- Document and maintain taxonomy guidelines and mapping rules
3. Merchandising & Campaign Execution
- Execute in-app merchandising setups: superheaders, carousels, promotional banners, and featured modules
- Build and maintain featured item lists, collections, and trending modules per promotional calendar
- Coordinate with Category Managers and marketing on campaign timelines, assets, and go-live checklists
- QA merchandising placements before launch and monitor post-launch for broken links, wrong items, or outdated content
- Maintain a calendar of live and upcoming catalog/merchandising changes
4. Cross-Functional Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for catalog setup and maintenance requests from category and merchant teams
- Translate campaign briefs into accurate, on-time catalog and merchandising execution
- Track volume, turnaround time, and backlog; propose process improvements where repetitive work can be streamlined or templatized
- Support ad hoc catalog projects: new merchant onboarding, category launches, seasonal resets, and bulk uploads
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, catalog management, content operations, marketplace ops, or retail merchandising support
- Hands-on experience managing product catalogs, SKUs, or merchant menus at scale
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with high-volume operational work
- Ability to follow and enforce naming, taxonomy, and content standards
- Solid written communication; able to write and edit clear, customer-facing product copy
- Comfort working in spreadsheets, CMS/catalog tools, and ticketing/workflow systems
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple requests with clear prioritization
- Collaborative working style with category managers, merchants, and ops partners
Preferred
- Experience in quick commerce, grocery, or marketplace environments
- Familiarity with taxonomy design, category trees, or product information management (PIM)
- Basic understanding of how catalog quality affects search, conversion, and customer experience
- Experience supporting promotional campaigns or in-app merchandising execution
- SQL, Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for audits and bulk updates
Pay: Up to Php33,000.00 per month
