Job Title: ATE 93K Maintenance & Calibration Technician

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

About the Role

Support Product Engineering and Test Operations by maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting Advantest 93K ATE systems in a fast-paced lab environment. This role ensures test equipment readiness for silicon bring-up, characterization, and production testing while partnering closely with engineering teams

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and health checks on Advantest 93K ATE platforms (Smartest 8 preferred).

- Conduct system-level troubleshooting of ATE hardware architecture, load boards, and interfaces

- Load and validate test programs; support engineers during ATE testing, program checkout, and hardware validation.

- Configure and validate internal/external boards; perform hardware debugging using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Maintain accurate calibration records and update equipment databases; follow ESD and lab safety protocols.

- Manage lab logistics: tracking and storage of load boards, test samples, socket boards, and related fixtures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve test failures and improve test uptime and yield.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an electronics/semiconductor test lab (silicon bring-up, board-level or system-level validation).outscal+1

- Strong hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE systems; Smartest 8 experience preferred.

- Proficiency with Linux command line for daily operations and troubleshooting

- Solid understanding of ATE hardware architecture, test program loading, and system health checks.

- Experience with hardware debugging, board configuration/validation, and use of bench equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a lab environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/Associate/Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Exposure to semiconductor test flows, DFT concepts (SCAN/ATPG/MBIST), and yield analysis.

- Scripting experience (Shell/Python) for basic automation and reporting.

Work Conditions

- Onsite in Santa Clara, CA; may require occasional overtime or shift flexibility based on lab needs.

- Must comply with lab safety, ESD, and security policies.
