Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Balancing & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels and stock distribution across all SOLEWHAT stores.
- Review stock levels and identify overstock, understock, slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs.
- Assist in preparing stock transfer recommendations between stores.
- Coordinate with store and warehouse teams on stock transfers and inventory movement.
- Follow up on outstanding stock discrepancies and inventory-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and updated inventory reports.
- Assist in monitoring stock availability for key products, launches and campaigns.
2. Merchandising Updates & Reporting
- Maintain and update product/SKU information, including product details, pricing, stock status and store allocation.
- Prepare regular merchandising and inventory updates for review.
- Monitor product performance and highlight significant changes or concerns.
- Assist in tracking new arrivals, product launches, allocations and product movement.
- Prepare sales, inventory and sell-through reports to support merchandising decisions.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for merchandising activities.
- Assist in compiling information for weekly/monthly merchandising reviews.
3. Buying Assistance
- Assist the Merchandising team in preparing buying reports and product analysis.
- Compile historical sales, stock levels, sell-through and product performance data to support buying decisions.
- Assist with product listing and order preparation.
- Support PO preparation, order tracking and delivery follow-up.
- Coordinate with brands and suppliers regarding product availability, order status and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate buying records and product information.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and communicate updates to the relevant teams.
4. Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with Retail, Warehouse, Finance and Marketing teams on merchandising-related matters.
- Communicate relevant product, stock and launch updates to store teams.
- Assist in coordinating product launches, campaigns and special projects.
- Follow up on action items and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support the Merchandising team on ad-hoc projects and assignments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Inventory Management
- Accuracy of inventory and merchandising reports.
- Timely identification of overstock, understock and slow-moving products.
- Effectiveness and timeliness of stock transfer recommendations.
- Reduction of unnecessary stock imbalance between stores.
Merchandising Support
- Accuracy and timeliness of product/SKU updates.
- Timely submission of required reports and merchandising updates.
- Accuracy of product and allocation information.
Buying Support
- Accuracy of buying data and order preparation.
- Timely follow-up on POs and supplier orders.
- Effective tracking of product deliveries and order status.
Execution & Coordination
- Timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Effective follow-up with internal teams, stores and suppliers.
- Accuracy and organisation of merchandising documentation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, retail, inventory or a related field.
- Strong interest in fashion, footwear, lifestyle and retail.
- Good understanding of inventory and basic merchandising principles.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Good analytical and organisational skills.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-up skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and proactively identify issues.
- Retail or multi-brand experience will be an advantage.

Pay: Up to RM2,800.00 per month
