About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer – Senior Associate , you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable IT systems that support business operations. You will help ensure seamless application, network, and server performance while optimizing infrastructure, minimizing downtime, and enabling efficient software delivery.
Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on integrating development, operations, security, automation, and cloud technologies to enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery. You will work across cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, containerization, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity to support complex client engagements.
As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client relationships, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You will deepen your technical expertise, strengthen your professional brand, and anticipate the needs of your teams and clients. You will be expected to deliver high-quality solutions even when requirements or the path forward are not clearly defined.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between development, operations, and security teams to foster collaboration and enable secure application development and deployment. You will leverage a broad range of technologies and methodologies to solve complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and software delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable IT systems that support business operations and minimize downtime.
- Integrate development, operations, and security practices to enable secure and efficient software delivery.
- Bridge development and operations teams to facilitate seamless application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
- Utilize Azure DevOps Server and AWS CloudFormation for project management, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment automation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, testing, and deployment.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage and troubleshoot security infrastructure to maintain system integrity and operational resilience.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support incident remediation to address potential security threats.
- Implement DevSecOps practices to integrate security throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to build, deploy, and manage containerized applications.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and other scripting technologies.
- Support cloud operations, migrations, troubleshooting, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored infrastructure and DevOps solutions.
- Analyze operational and infrastructure data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for system improvements.
- Document technical solutions, processes, and operational procedures.
- Uphold professional, technical, security, and quality standards across all client engagements.
- Stay current with emerging cloud, DevOps, automation, and cybersecurity technologies.
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree.
- 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong oral and written proficiency in English.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud services, infrastructure management, and automation.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python or other scripting technologies.
- Proven experience supporting cloud operations, migrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps principles, vulnerability management, and incident remediation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development, operations, security, and client teams.
