About the Role
As an AI Engineer – Senior Associate at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that enable informed decision-making and drive business growth.
Within our Advisory practice, you will leverage advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems. You will work across data engineering, AI application development, statistical modeling, and data visualization to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative solutions for clients.
As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client relationships while developing your ability to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will also be comfortable working with ambiguity and using challenging situations as opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced data and AI solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Leverage statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Utilize machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and Scikit-Learn to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct exploratory and descriptive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data lakes to support large-scale data processing.
- Develop AI-integrated applications using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and relevant AI frameworks.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business and data requirements and deliver tailored analytics and AI solutions.
- Apply programming languages such as Python, C++, and R to develop and optimize data science and AI workflows.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services as part of scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and reliability through effective data engineering and software development practices.
- Deploy and maintain AI and data solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Apply DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git, to support scalable and reliable deployments.
- Mentor junior team members in data science, AI engineering, software development, and related methodologies.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong full-stack or backend development experience, including:
- Python
- Angular or React
- RESTful APIs
- Microservices
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Software testing
- Software architecture
- Hands-on experience developing AI-integrated applications, including:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Embeddings
- Vector databases
- AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen
- Proven cloud and DevOps experience with one or more of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, and practices related to application security, reliability, and scalability.
