Role Description : The MEP Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The MEP Manager will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities for assigned projects (residential, commercial, shed, industrial, etc), ensuring designs are accurately implemented and coordinated with civil and architectural works. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and approving MEP drawings, supervising installation and testing, managing site teams and subcontractors, and resolving technical issues. The role involves coordinating with project managers, consultants, and clients, monitoring quality and safety compliance, and supporting procurement of MEP materials and equipment. The MEP Manager will also prepare progress reports, contribute to project planning and scheduling, and help optimize costs while maintaining performance standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in MEP Coordination and overall Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) management.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in MEP Design and Plumbing systems, including review of drawings and technical specifications.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Procurement related to MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in MEP are an advantage.
- Minimum 8 YEARS of UAE experience, project experience in MEP works & contracting is mandatory
- Solid knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations, and ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
- Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams on site.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with project management and MEP design software tools.Benefits: to be discussed in person
