We are seeking a highly strategic and dynamic Accountant to join our leadership team. This dual role is crucial for our security company, blending expert financial management with strong IT leadership to support our growth and technological capabilities. Your role will be to create or improve current accounting processes, reduce waste and improve efficiency of capital.
Scope of Work:
- Manage end-to-end B2B client invoicing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
- Create and maintain templates for invoices, financial reports, and other recurring accounting documents.
- Conduct financial health and business reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance workflows.
- Build and maintain trackers to monitor financial, billing, and operational metrics.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Payroll Processing:
- Collaborate with other C-suite executives in operations and account management to overhaul a new payroll processing system.
- Work with and train a comprehensive dispatch/accounting team to identify waste through rigorous audits and improve efficiency.
Strategic Leadership:
- Collaborate with other C-suite executives to define and articulate the company's vision and to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
- Introduce innovative solutions that enhance profitability and efficiency across the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Familiarity with all aspects of corporate governance, risk, and compliance with respect to financial reporting.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to drive both financial and IT teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarlarity with AI specifically Claude and Chat GPT for accounting efficency
