Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Prompt Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in LLM-based applications, prompt design, testing, evaluation, and optimization.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience working with Generative AI solutions and be able to design effective prompt strategies that improve AI output quality, accuracy, reliability, and consistency.
This role will involve experimentation, evaluation, documentation, and collaboration with AI engineering teams to validate and improve AI use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for LLM-based applications
- Develop reusable prompt templates, frameworks, and best practices
- Perform prompt experiments using:
- Zero-shot prompting
- Few-shot prompting
- Prompt chaining
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Context optimization
- Evaluate LLM responses and improve:
- Accuracy
- Consistency
- Reliability
- Instruction following
- Identify and mitigate LLM challenges including:
- Hallucinations
- Prompt injection risks
- Incorrect responses
- Context limitations
- Define evaluation methods and metrics for AI output quality
- Collaborate with AI/Engineering teams to integrate prompt strategies into applications
- Maintain prompt documentation, experiment results, and improvement reports
- Provide measurable recommendations based on AI experiments
Required Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of overall professional experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Prompt Engineering for LLM applications
- Mandatory: Formal Prompt Engineering Certification
- Experience working with:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Prompt optimization techniques
- RAG-based applications
- Context management
- LLM evaluation approaches
- AI workflow integration
Strong understanding of:
- LLM behavior and limitations
- Tokenization and context windows
- Prompt design patterns
- Zero-shot and few-shot prompting
- Prompt chaining
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- AI response evaluation and optimization
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Generative AI / Enterprise AI solutions
- Exposure to:

- Experience creating prompt libraries or AI governance standards
