Digital Process Automation is looking to fill a Management Associate position in our Plant Systems – Build team. This candidate will learn the latest technologies in web development while working directly with our Application Architect. They will help design and develop innovative web solutions for US Steel’s North American Flat-roll Operations. These solutions will include new development opportunities as well as the transforming our legacy, plant-specific applications into modern, web-based systems operating in our Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with customers to gather requirements and develop solutions using an iterative approach.
- Design and develop solutions in C#.Net
- Learn plant business processes and system functionality to provide direction on customer inquiries.
- Perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- Must have less than three years of professional work experience
- Must have graduated within the last three years
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience in web development using C#.NET
- Knowledge of Javascript frameworks (Angular, Knockout, etc)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Prior internship a plus
