Responsibilities:
1. Business Opportunity Development
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across enterprise, corporate, government and direct-to-consumer (D2C) markets.
- Explore potential markets, industries, customers, partnerships and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Support the development of new business models, solutions and market initiatives.
2. Market & Industry Research
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, emerging technologies and competitor activities.
- Identify market gaps and opportunities for the company to expand its ICT products, solutions and services.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to Management and relevant departments.
3. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain professional relationships with potential and existing business stakeholders.
- Understand customer business challenges, requirements and technology needs.
- Coordinate discussions between customers and internal technical teams to explore suitable ICT solutions.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions and business networking activities.
4. Solution & Proposal Support
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Technical, Product and Operations teams to understand and develop suitable ICT solutions.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, solution concepts, presentations and other business development materials.
- Coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC), demonstrations and solution discussions where required.
- Ensure customer requirements and business objectives are properly communicated to the relevant internal teams.
5. Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify and explore potential partnerships with technology vendors, solution providers, system integrators and other strategic partners.
- Support partnership discussions, collaboration initiatives and joint business opportunities.
- Maintain good working relationships with relevant external stakeholders.
6. Business Planning & Reporting
- Assist in developing business development plans and initiatives aligned with the company's business strategy.
- Monitor the progress of business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare business development reports, market updates and opportunity analysis for Management.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, ICT, technology or a related field.
- Candidates with an IT/ICT background are preferred.
- Good understanding of ICT products, solutions and emerging technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Good business acumen and ability to identify potential business opportunities.
- Able to engage and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
