Workday Consultant – Finance / Workday Studio & Integration

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Integration and/or Finance to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting Workday integrations in production environments. Strong Workday Studio experience is preferred.
The candidate should also have a solid understanding of Workday Finance, Procurement, HCM, business processes, reports, calculated fields, and security, enabling them to bridge functional requirements with technical integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot Workday integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, RaaS, Core Connectors, Web Services, and Workday APIs.
- Work with different integration patterns and determine the appropriate technical approach based on business requirements.
- Develop and support Workday Procurement integrations, including PunchOut and cXML scenarios.
- Support integrations across Workday Finance, Procurement, HCM, and related business processes.
- Provide production support for Workday integrations, including:
- Incident troubleshooting
- Root-cause analysis
- Integration monitoring
- Failure recovery
- Error analysis
- Reprocessing and resolution
- Independently investigate integration failures and drive issues through resolution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, functional teams, vendors, and third-party application teams.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into scalable Workday integration solutions.
- Understand how Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, and security configurations impact integrations.
- Identify integration issues proactively and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Support testing, deployment, production releases, and post-production stabilization.
- Maintain integration documentation and technical troubleshooting procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–10 years of Workday experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Integration Development.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio is strongly preferred.

- RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service)
- Core Connectors
- Workday Web Services / APIs
- Workday Integration Patterns
- Experience with Workday Procurement integrations.
- Experience with PunchOut / cXML integrations is highly desirable.
- Strong production support experience with Workday integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration failures independently and perform root-cause analysis.
- Good understanding of Workday Finance, Procurement, HCM, and related business processes.

We are looking for someone with an operational and ownership mindset. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of integration issues end-to-end rather than depending primarily on functional or configuration teams for technical troubleshooting.
You should be able to analyze issues independently, investigate failures proactively, communicate clearly with stakeholders/vendors, identify root causes, and drive problems through resolution.
Work Schedule
Remote | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST
Candidates must be flexible to provide EST time-zone overlap when required by the project.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
