Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for estate development, maintenance, harvesting, replanting and related activities
- Oversee daily estate operations to achieve optimal efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness
- Monitor, control and evaluate estate operations in accordance with the Group's policies and good agricultural practices
- Lead, motivate and develop the Assistant Manager and estate team to achieve operational targets
- Establish performance targets and implement best agronomic practices to maximize FFB yields
- Monitor water management, soil fertility, pest and disease control, harvesting practices and other estate operational standards
- Prepare, review and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets and ensure effective cost control
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, labour, safety, health and sustainability laws, regulations and standards, including MSPO
- Oversee estate infrastructure, including roads, workers' housing, utilities and other facilities
- Prepare regular estate performance reports and provide updates to senior management and/or the Board
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by management
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation Management or a related field
- More than 7 years of plantation management experience, including at least 3–5 years in an Estate Manager role
- Experience in the development and management of peat soil estates is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, people management and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management and operational planning
- Excellent knowledge of plantation agronomy and relevant laws and regulations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates strong integrity, professionalism and work ethics
Willing to reside at the estate and travel frequently as required
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
