UALIFICATIONS:
- With at least 5 years' experience and certification of the A320/A330/B737/B777 aircrafts.
- With recent certifying experience for 6 months in the last 24 months.
- At least MR authorization holder.
- With A320/A330/B737 and B777 aircraft type ratings and trainings certification.
- A holder of a valid CAAP AMT License with A&P / Avionics rating.
- A graduate of Bachelor/ Associate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology.
- With good knowledge and skills with aircraft maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mechanic is responsible to the Inspector and unit chief for:
- Overseeing and leading the team of Mechanics within his direct control in the performance of aircraft maintenance activities to meet scheduled target as Deputy Unit Chief and Inspector.
- Serves to provide practical inspection capability to aircraft maintenance tasks, as the authorized certifying staff.
- Has the responsibility to apply, process, and maintain the granted authorizations of certifying staff program. And responsible for aircraft tasks documentations as lead or support staff. Maintenance task final buy-off.
- Has the direct responsibility of control and management of generation and handling of non-routine card/s. Expert classification of findings and head responsible, authorized staff for material and parts ordering and condition interpretations.
- Conscious compliance and acknowledgement of regulatory determined limitations and provisions.
- The general supervision, conduct and discipline of Mechanics and Trainees within his direct control.
- Generates and/or sends on time progress updates, status reports of assigned tasks.
- Has the taken priority consideration to be within or exactly on pre-determined dates such as milestones, timelines critical path, fixed deadlines and drop dates. For all tasks, daily processes with critical hour specified entries, program schedules and projects.
- Assist the immediate superior in the assessment of staff performance and administration of disputes.
- Observes and functions as lead to standard housekeeping.
- Mandatory to observe logbook entries of tasks considered as OJT aircraft maintenance tasks. And the preparation of requirements to become a maintenance certifying staff
